Joshua 1:8-9: “ This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night,so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

I wanted to be a police officer since childhood. In high school after receiving Jesus I contemplated going into ministry. I struggled between full time ministry and law enforcement. God finally answered my concerns by showing me that the job of a police officer is ministry. God has blessed me, and used me mightily in my career and I thank Him so much for putting me in the right job. Another blessing was CLEF. I knew that a career in law enforcement was going to be tough and besides the prayers/support of my family I needed the spiritual support of other christian police officers. Soon after I started at Coronado PD I found out about CLEF. CLEF has been such a wonderful support and blessing in my career as a police officer and I am honored to now be a part of CLEF where I can be a support for the chaplains who are serving the law enforcement community.
